Mission/Purpose: My hope and vision of this block is to create content, a plethora of genres for children to hear as a bedtime story. This site is born from a time where, as a single mother of three rambunctious children, it would take me a good hour and a half for bedtime routine each night. Eventually, I found an ISS astronaut who would read (through a video) a story to two of my children, while I read to the other, and would rotate this method on nights when I was overly tired or sick. Each child got their bedtime story every night and all 3 of my children are great and avid readers and writers! I was told by a friend recently that I should do read alouds as I have a soft and comforting voice. So, here is a (for donation only) site where I get to continue reading to children, after teaching my last year working in schools as a 5th grade EIP teacher of a title one school.
